This piece is part of the COS ATELIER collection, a limited capsule founded on the principles of luxury and exceptional design.
CUT
Deconstructed details are peppered throughout the ATELIER collection this season. These contemporary trousers are expertly tailored in a relaxed, straight-leg shape, style them with the matching waistcoat for a modern take on tailoring. The trousers retain some elements of traditional suiting, like the belt loops, bar tacks and tidy welt pocket. The waistband has been left intentionally undone, matching the raw hem of the coordinating blazer.
CLOTH
The ATELIER team selected a premium blend of recycled fibres and wool that has been certified according to the Responsible Wool Standard. The weighty suiting cloth effortlessly holds the trousers' structure and shape, while the cream raw waistband nicely contrasts the deep-black fabric.
CRAFT
Particular attention has been paid to the waistband of these trousers; outside you'll find they have a decorative top buttonhole, while inside there's an innovatively designed adjustable tab that allows them to be worn low-slung or higher on the waist.
